"Took the chance so you don't have to..." PonyJet HONEST Customer Review
Phoebe S.
So i thought I’d write a little review on this myself because I got the PonyJet PetJet Shower Pro, and after the amount of people at the yard asking me about it, it just makes sense. It's all over social media.
The pre-order drama
I ordered it back in 2024 when it was sold out – didn’t actually clock that it was a pre-order at the time (classic me), so I had a mini panic when it didn’t arrive right away. But to be fair to them, their customer support were super quick to reply, explained the whole thing, and kept me updated. They were actually really helpful and I wasn’t left wondering if I'd just ordered something off a dodgy site.
The PonyJet / PetJet rebrand thingy
Not gonna lie, I was a bit confused by the whole PonyJet/PetJet name change – I wasn’t sure if I’d been scammed or bought from the wrong site or what 😂 but I think it’s just that they’re growing into dogs and sorting a few things out behind the scenes. Maybe there were some stock hiccups and teething problems, but that’s pretty normal for a new business tbh.
They did get a bit of stick early on (I saw the comments) – but the horse world can be brutal and not always the kindest place for small brands trying to do something a bit different, let’s be honest.
the Shower Pro
Once it arrived, I got it set up in the yard wash bay and let me just say: this thing is amazing. The pressure’s very decent (not one of those sad dribbly sprayers) and it actually gets through the thick mud and sweaty backs after schooling without having to stand there for 45 minutes. Plus, I can control the temp, so no more freezing cold hose dramas in winter. 7kw with a pump inside. Horses are happy and I’m happy. My back to.
And bonus – it looks nice. Like not some ugly bit of yard kit you try to hide. It’s actually well-built, sleek, and feels like it’s been designed by someone who actually owns horses, it's robust.
Worth the money?
Honestly – yes. I know it’s not cheap, but now that I’ve used it for a few weeks, I wouldn’t be without it. Makes yard life cleaner, quicker, and easier. Especially in winter when everything’s just a muddy chaos.
Final thoughts
If you're on the fence – just get it. Yes, it’s a new brand, yes, there were some small bumps with stock, but the product does what it says on the tin. And for once, it actually makes my horsey routine a bit less stressful.
Anyway, that’s me done. Sitting on the mounting block with a coffee, watching my horse roll in the mud I just washed off. Love that for me.
Would 100% recommend PonyJet. And yes – I actually wrote this. Myself. No AI, no marketing team. Just me and my very clean(ish) cob x PS.
